About the Teacher: Deepa Krishnan
Hello! I am Deepa Krishnan. I am an engineer by qualification and a Web Designer by profession. I have always been passionate about Arts and Crafts since childhood and it was this passion that made me choose my profession as a creative Web Designer.
I have taken many Art courses at school and attended many craft workshops to enrich my knowledge and sharpen my skills. I love teaching Art to children, to inspire them to learn new ways of perceiving and looking at the world around them.
About the Classes
Deepa Krishnan's Art & Craft classes began in Spring 2016 and has since taught many children. In these classes the students will explore a variety of art medium and learn to draw, paint, sketch and create mixed media masterpieces!The main objective of these classes are to provide the students tools to transform random drawings into purposeful artistic creations. Once students are equipped with appropriate skills, they will feel confident in transforming their ideas into tangible art pieces.
While it is fun to create our own art, it is also necessary to learn about the works of eminent artists to enrich our knowledge on Art History. Deepa Krishnan's Art classes also aims at teaching the students about some of the famous artists and some famous art forms, understand their style and reproduce a few of their works..
End of the day, the students learn Art in a fun way!!!

Class Policies, Releases and Waivers
Class Policies:
FEES: The course fee is due before the student joins the class and the registration holds good only after the payment is received.
WITHDRAWALS: If the student wishes to withdraw from the course, please notify 1 week in advance. A full refund will be provided for the remaining classes from the date informed. Deepa Krishnan reserves the right to refuse admittance or de-register any person who refrains from adhering to the class policies that provide a safe and positive learning environment.
MISSED CLASSES: If a student is unable to attend a class, a makeup class or refund will not be offered. However if a class is being cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, all the parents will be notified by phone and a makeup class will be scheduled either in the same week or at the end of the season.
CLASS CANCELLATION: All classes are subject to sufficient registration. Deepa Krishnan reserves the right to cancel or combine individual courses if minimum registration is not achieved. A full refund will be issued in the event of a cancellation.
FOOD & DRINK POLICY: No food or drink is allowed during the class time with the exception of a water bottle.
Photo Release:
The Parent/Guardian hereby authorizes Deepa Krishnan to photograph or film the participant and use them on the class website, social media, in printed materials, and in electronic forms of communication. If the Parent/Gauardian does not want the participant to be photographed or filmed, they agree to indicate this in writing and give the signed letter to Deepa Krishnan before the start of the class.
Medical Release:
The Parent/Guardian agrees to hereby give permission to have Deepa Krishnan arrange for any emergency medical care including hospitalization/transportation, if necessary, to the administration of such emergency medical treatment as may be deemed necessary in the circumstances.
Waiver of Liability and Indemnity:
The Parent/Guardian agrees to hereby hold harmless and indemnify Deepa Krishnan for all liability for any property damage or personal injury to any third party resulting from participation in this course. The Parent/Guardian hereby further agrees that Deepa Krishnan shall not be liable, either directly or indirectly, for any claims, or any damages, costs and expenses, including but not limited to personal injury, fatality, property damage or lost or stolen property, arising from or connected with participation in any activity contemplated by this Waiver Form, whether or not such injury, damage or loss occurred as result of any negligence or negligent misrepresentation.
